    ANS CR's priorities, 2005

11. 2. 2005

Just like in the previous years, the CEO approved “ANS CR's Priorities for 2005” in late January. The said document formulates key areas in which the organisation management sets a list of goals that create preconditions for an effective and smooth operation of ANS CR over the said period and ensures continuity in terms of medium-term planning. The 2005 priorities are mainly based on the current situation in air traffic in both CR and Europe, traffic forecasts, the organisation's financial situation and the ongoing European integration of ATM. Structurally, the document mainly sets priorities in the following areas:

– Operating efficiency (ensure optimum throughput of the Czech Republic's airspace and airports);

– Safety (zero accidents caused by ATM);

- IATCC (fulfilling the tasks and meeting the schedule and the financial plan of the IATCC Prague project);

– Single European Sky (proactive involvement in the formulation of operating (implementing) regulations);

– Staff recruitment and selection aimed at reaching the required number of candidates for the Air Traffic Controller position;

– Finance – meeting the cost and investment budgets.
